How to know God Personally

1. Understand that God loves you and desires a personal relationship with you. (John 3:16)

2. Realize that we ALL sin and that not only does God punish sin but He cannot be in the presence of it.  Our sin has created a complete separation from Him and His riches in glory. (Romans 3:23, 6:23)

3. Understand that Christ Jesus left his place in Heaven to live on this earth for a time that He may die in such a way as to be the only acceptable sacrifice for our sins once for all. (Romans 5:8, 2 Corinthians 5:21)

4. Turn from your sinful choices. (Acts 20:21) Place your faith for Salvation in Christ Jesus, believing that His death paid for all your sins, and His resurrection secured eternal life and forgiveness for you and enter that personal relationship with God through faith in Christ. (Ephesians 2:8-10, Romans 10:9-10, John 14:6)
